Salt Water Disposal Plant upgrade project for SARIR Oil Operations

The project involves providing detailed engineering support for the upgrade of the Salt Water Disposal Plant (SWDP) at Sarir Oil Field, Libya.
The existing facility handles approximately 66,000 BWPD of produced water, and the upgrade aims to increase the capacity to 80,000 BWPD in Phase-1.
The scope includes integration of new equipment such as two hydrocyclones and one buffer vessel into the existing plant.

Elixir is responsible for delivering complete multi-disciplinary detailed engineering covering process, piping, civil, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
The work includes development and validation of PFDs, P&IDs, and process simulations, along with preparation of layouts, isometrics, and design calculations. A key aspect of the project is brownfield integration, including identification of tie-in points and modification of existing systems. The project also includes support for procurement activities such as technical bid evaluation and vendor document review.

The overall objective is to enhance plant capacity, improve separation efficiency, and ensure reliable and safe disposal of produced water.
