Solid Waste into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) CONVERSION
Elixir personnel are seconded to one of Technology Developing company which is involved in converting Solid Waste into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). For more details:
MSW Gassification
- Thermochemical process that converts non-recyclable waste into a fuel-rich syngas (a mixture of carbon monoxide an
hydrogen) using a controlled amount of oxygen or steam at high temperatures. - Gasification aims to produce this syngas, which can then be used to generate electricity, produce hydrogen, or synthesize chemicals and fuels
- Elixir involvement is limited to the document review and HAZOP facilitation for one of the European client.
MSW TORREFACTION
- Thermochemical process that heats waste under oxygen-limited conditions (200-300° C) to produce a high-carbon, energy
dense solid biofuel - Pre-bid support for power generation facilities for Europe based company.
